Wooden Onion Crate

Onions are best stored in a cool dark place and kept well ventilated. This robust and simple wooden crate is ideal storage in cellar or other suitable storage place and reduces the chance of sprouting. The open structure of the crates allow the produce to be well ventilated, so that it will stay fresh for longer, the well designed system with oblique bottom and sliding lower compartment always presents the oldest onions first. Fresh produce should be placed in the top of the crate. Apart from onions you could just as well store apples or potatoes in this crate.
